Years ago when I moved to New York City, I was ridiculed for calling myself a Buyer Broker. True buyer representation was a little known practice in these parts; thought only to exist in the suburbs. Nowadays some city agents are getting into a lot of trouble for saying they represent buyers when they actually (still) represent sellers.

I was the absolute first pioneer for Buyer Brokerage in the affordable pocket markets in Manhattan and Brooklyn. New so-called Buyer Specialists are merely just following suit.

Ask a happy (homeowner) friend if they know about me as I quite possibly helped them or somebody they know purchase a home.
